PlayFood: Puffs Filled with Shrimp
"Uno Shrimpo"
(Adapted from “Tea-time at the Inn” by Gail Greco)
150 mini cream puff-type pastries (but NOT cream-filled - buy or see below to make)
filling (see below)
Make pastries up to a day ahead. On the morning of the Ball, insert a teaspoon or more
of the shrimp filling into each pastry. Refrigerate until time to serve.
Filling:
2 # cooked cocktail shrimp, thawed if originally frozen
2 # cream cheese, softened
½ tsp. salt
4 Tbsp. curry powder, or to taste
Place all ingredients in a food processor. Blend well. Can be made a day ahead and kept
refrigerated until ready to use.
