It's just barely the first Friday of the month, so head on down to Palo Alto (at the MT), for David Newitt leading the English country dance to the music of Nonesuch Country Dance Players (Ruth Anne Fraley, Susan and Stanley Kramer)

At 7:30, the San Francisco English dance at BET. Genial David Newitt is the caller, with music by Kathrine Gardner, Kimberly McKittrick and Charlie Hancock.
At the decidedly southern end of Palo Alto, the contra at PA has Eric Black calling to the decidedly southern music of The Earls (Ray Bierl, Alan Senauke, Barb Swan, and Marty Cutler).
