HAMBO workshop at ECV features Toby Blomé & Tom Sears teaching how to do this popular Swedish turning dance, with music by Fred Bialy (3:30-5:30 pm; $5.00 admission).
The second Sunday East Bay square and contra at ECV follows at 7pm. Jim Saxe calls to the music of dotGals (Susan Sullivan, Karen Warrick, Kathy Hirsh, and Adam Cavan).
English dancing in Berkeley at GNC, with Anise Feldman & Lise Dyckman teaming up to call the dance, Charlie Hancock, Jon Berger, Mark Carroll serve up the music.

Then at 8pm, Alisa Dodson conducts "The Best of the Bay", Third Annual Fall Ball to the music of Kimberly McKittrick, Avis Minger, Craig Johnson and Jim Oakden.Single admission for both workshop and ball: $15 before 11/12, $18 after.
