We are doing the Australian version of this dance. They changed a few small things from the original version in Maggot Pie, and set it to a different tune by Handel. This tune has no As and Bs and isn’t phrased as I have written the dance instructions, but I think having those landmarks will help you learn the dance. Be sure to watch the video on our website to see how the dance and Handel tune fit together. |

Rebecca wrote this music after a horrific wildfire in her home area. I have been through a similar fire where I live, and have never forgotten the desolation of the ashes and stark remains of the burned areas. But, as time goes on, green grass appears and very slowly, regeneration happens. |
