Alan Winston

Alan Winston loves English country dance. He loves the dancing, loves the variety of moods, and loves to share it with others. What more needs to be said?

Alan has been active in the bay area dance scene since 1985, when he co-founded the Bay Area English Regency Society. He last led the BACDS Playford Ball in 2000.

In addition to his calling activities, Alan has been a longtime member of the Deer Creek Morris Men, founder of the English Country Dance Internet mailing list, co-manager of BACDS's Fall Dance Weekend since 1991, member of BACDS's board of directors since 1990 and board chairman since 2000, and former member of the Country Dance and Song Society's board of directors.
