PlayFood: Chocolate Chip Cookies

"Cookies All Awry"
8 dozen

2 1/4 C sifted flour
1 t baking powder
1/2 t baking soda
1/4 t salt
1 C butter
1 C brown sugar
1/2 C white sugar
2 eggs
1 t vanilla
1/2 lb chocolate chips

Mix and sift flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
Cream butter and sugar, then thoroughly beat in eggs.
Add vanilla then dry ingredients.
Mix well; stir in chocolate chips.
Drop by teaspoon onto greased baking sheet 2 inches apart.
Bake at 400 for about 9 minutes.
