Health Policy

At Fall Frolick we strive to create a safe and healthy dance environment. We know dancing with a large group who have traveled from different places increases the risk of spreading respiratory infections. In November the incidence of Covid, Flu, RSV and other infections can be higher than at other times of the year.

We recommend these actions to prevent acquiring and spreading disease.

• Stay up to date with immunizations. Get a flu shot and Covid booster in the Fall.
• Get RSV and Pneumococcal immunizations if eligible.
• If you test positive for Covid in the week before camp, please stay home.
• If you are exposed to Covid or have respiratory infection symptoms - fever, cough, runny nose - please test for Covid.
• If you have mild respiratory symptoms that you believe are non-contagious – allergies, cough, sniffles – please wear a mask on the dance floor and in communal indoor spaces.

Policies for Camp

• We will not check vaccine status.
• Masks are optional except as above.
• Outdoor eating areas will be available.
• Testing may or may not be required before and or during camp.
• We will monitor Covid levels in the community and if they remain low, testing may not be required. A final decision will be posted at least 1 week before camp.

Fall Frolick is a Fragrance-Free event.

Many dancers are sensitive to fragrances in personal care products, perfumes and laundry detergents. We ask that you use only unscented personal care products during the weekend and look for the unscented soap we place in communal restrooms. Should you have an allergic reaction to a fragrance you believe someone is using, please contact the manager. If you are especially sensitive you may want to wear a mask on the dance floor.
